This
week was very full! Here we are meeting our guinea pigs for the first
time. We also read a great book and practiced holding a stuffed guinea pig
to show how gentle we could be.
We started some new snow-themed fine motor baskets:
Elastics on Geoboards
Pokey Pins
Snowflake Lego Challenge
Magnetic Marble Racing
Putty Search and Count
Mme Deanna also did a super cool lesson about different types of paper before showing us how to make our own paper airplanes. Next, because we all used different types of paper to make our planes, we tested them to see which ones went the furthest. Finally, we spend time playing with our airplanes and drawing and gluing on details.
